The mission of the Greene County SWMD and Recycling Center is to promote integrated solid waste management through recycling, pollution prevention and reuse. Our recycling facility is located in the center of the county just South of the 54&57 junction East of Switz City (map).  We have a satellite recycling drop off station in Worthington, located downtown behind the Sonshine Shop. We also have a mobile recycling trailer that is moved weekly to Eastern Greene County (Center Fire Dept.), Jasonville (beside Town Hall), Linton (Wal-Mart parking lot), Bloomfield (City Park), Lyons (beside Town Hall), & Owensburg (Fire Dept.). Due to the size of the trailer we are only accepting #1 & #2 plastics, newspaper, magazines, all other mixed paper and cardboard.  The mobile recycling trailer will be spotted in each location from Wednesday thru Wednesday, give us a call to see when the trailer will be coming to your area.

Business Recycling
